Fanny Amun joins the movement “Keshi-must-go” but supports Amokachi

Fanny Amun, former Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation and one time Coach of the National team, has joined the movement that sings “Keshi-must-go” debate. Amun seems to like Keshi out of the game but prefers Daniel Amokachi as replacement. Amun led Nigeria team to the FIFA U-17 1993 World Cup triumph in Japan.

Here’s what Amun had to give as reasons:

“Amokachi is a respected personality in the team as well having played diligently during his days and he has been around the team for a while as an assistant Coach. “As far as I’m concerned, it’s a golden opportunity for him to prove himself as the leader of the team and I wish him all the best” he said.
