The Rhythm Unplugged sponsored by Pepsi, 10th year edition held last weekend was a big one. It actually lived up to its rating as the biggest entertainment event to hold in Nigeria thus far.
It was done big with hosts Basketmouth & Ik Osakioduwa delivering the humour, DJ Humility on the turn tables, opening acts 2K, El-Prince, Ruby Gyangand more.
The talented duo, leading the way, Paul and Peter Okoye of P-Square stormed the stage and held the crowd with jaw-dropped by hitting the songs like “E No Easy”, “Shekini”, “Collabo” and others leaving the audience begging for more like Oliver Twist. Another Performer like Davido mounted the stage, the ladies in the house could not hold their control anymore, they took to the dance floor rocking the song “Aye”. Performers like MI, Presh, Sound Sultan, Kaffy, Rugged Man, Olamide, Wizkid and Don Jazzy (with Mavin Crew) made the night unforgettable.
Commenting on the event, the Head of Marketing, Seven-Up Bottling Company Plc, Norden Thurston said: “The array of stars at Pepsi Rhythm Unplugged goes to show the huge talent base in this country. This creative gifts lie with the youths and who could better project and support the youth more than a youth brand like Pepsi that has over the years been involved with youth and talent.“
