Coach Stephen Keshi, after his first training session since his appointment in March, has said most of the players called up for a training camp in Abuja were jittery on first day of the training as the Eagles began preparations ahead of a 2017 AFCON qualifier against Chad next month.
Keshi, said, “I like what I am seeing, by the time they settle down, it will be much better.
“Right now, a lot of them are a bit jittery and anxious because they are in front of the ‘Big Boss’.
“I try to work on every department of football, fitness, techniques and tactical play just to see what they can do.”
Keshi who is expected to release his list of foreign-based players to join the home-based squad for the chad encounter next week added, “The potentials are there; this is not the only players we can get in Nigeria, but this is the group that I want to start with and then, we can subtract and add.”
