It was gathered that the Nigeria Police Force, Ondo State Command has now declared one Friday Eniba wanted following the alleged killing of his friend, Seun Ajalami, in Iwaro Oka Akoko in Akoko Southwest local government area of the state.
According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Wole Ogodo who disclosed this to journalists in Akure yesterday, said the suspect stabbed his friend to death after a disagreement.
Ogodo said the suspect ran away immediately after the offence was committed last week.
According to him, the deceased and the suspect had a misunderstanding the previous day that the incident happened but the said misunderstanding was settled.
He said on that fateful day, the suspect invited the deceased to a private place where another argument occurred between them again and this suspect stabbed his friend in the back and throat several times with knife before he ran away.
The police image maker stated further that the deceased was rushed to the hospital in the town where he later gave up the ghost.
He said efforts were on top gear to arrest the fleeing suspect.
“I am very sure that the suspect would not escape because our men are all out to arrest him; there is no way he can escape without facing the wrath of the law,” he vowed.
