Students of the University of Lagos, UNILAG, Akoka, on Monday, shut the university’s two exit gates, to protest what they described as the invasion of bedbugs and mosquitoes in their hostels.

ADELOVE gathered that the protest by the irate students which began as early as 7am, led to a hectic traffic snarl within and around the university community.

  3. What are those they are hanging on the school gate? A university has gotten this rotten? Nigeria is really in trouble. Can not even compare with primary schools in western countries….lol

  4. Its time for that professor Bello (VC) to resign or be kicked out. Many negative reports within a space of two months ranging from POST UTME eligibility saga, Electrocution of an innocent and promising Girl, Delayed staff salaries and wages to this morning issues of bed bugs. All these attracted protests which is not good for this noble university of first choice.
