Solomon Arase, the Inspector General of Police assures safe return of Samson Siasia’s 72-year-old mother, who was abducted from her home at Odoni community of Sagama Local Council Area of Bayelsa State on Tuesday by unknown persons.
Arase, who spoke in Ibadan on Wednesday, explained little challenge the Police force seems facing, said the major challenge the force had faced in securing the release of the national U-23 team coach’s mother was the terrain in which the abductors operate. See Excerpts:
“The police are working to ensure that the woman is released as soon as possible. The difficulty we had initially is the terrain in that area. Mostly, abductors come through the riverine areas but we are working and overcoming that and I can assure you that she will be released very soon.”
