Taiwo Olatunbosun, berated the governor over his attack on human rights activist and lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN) over his (Falana’s) position on the fresh revelations on the June 21, 2014 governorship election in the state, which was won by Fayose

Falana had said in the media that Fayose was liable to prosecution in light of new revelations linking his victory to alleged electoral fraud through ‘militarisation and illegal printing of sensitive INEC materials for the purpose of the election.’

APC publicity secretary in the state, Taiwo Olatunbosun, cited the secretly recorded audio tape by Captain Sagir Koli, and revelations by PDP secretary in the state, Dr Tope Aluko as enough evidences to revisit the Ekiti election.

The governor had while reacting, accused Falana of double standards and lack of integrity, having supported his election after the result was announced on June 22, 2014.

Olatunbosun said Fayose should stop insulting Nigerians in his “shameless defence of criminal acts that brought him to power.”

The party accused the governor of “using immunity to commit impunity”, adding that Fayose was carrying a moral and legal burden in the election that brought him to power.
