National Assembly to pass Disability Bill soon – Rep. Olatoye

A member of the House of Representatives, Temitope Olatoye, yesterday assured that the National Assembly is set to pass the Disability Bill into law.

Already, the lawmaker representing Lagelu/ Akinyele Federal Constituency said the Bill has passed the first and second readings.

He spoke at the opening of a day workshop organised by the Oyo State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) on the coverage and reporting persons with disabilities.

When passed into law, Olatoye said the rights of persons with disabilities would be constitutional guaranteed.
