The FCT Administration will strive to achieve all set goals in the development of the Federal Capital Territory in line with the vision of President Muhammadu Buhari-led Administration.
The FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Bello, gave this assurance on Thursday while receiving the participants of Course 38 of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos, who are in Abuja on a study tour.
According to him, a lot has been achieved and a lot more needs to be done to fast track the development of the entire Federal Capital Territory as envisaged by its founding fathers.
Bello noted that his administration would not leave any stone unturned to upscale the infrastructural development of the city and its environs.
“I assure you that this administration will continue to strive very hard to achieve all the goals set for us in all aspects, so that we will continue to advance the society.”
He said that the administration was aware of what needed to be done in respect of poverty alleviation as well as development of the rural communities.
The minister said that the present government would not rest on its oars until it living standard of the residents was improved.
He urged the participants to feel free to give a realistic assessment of the city so as to help government in taking critical decisions.
Earlier, the leader of the NIPSS delegation, Prof. Abu Galadima, advised the FCT Administration to send officials to the Institute during the participants’ presentation of its study report.
He said the tradition of the institute was that when a report was being presented at the institute, the affected organisation was expected to be there to listen and report back to the relevant authority.
