The Sun UK reports that as armed police accompanied the 25-year-old off the pitch after arresting him, the keeper told his teammates that the cops “just want to clear some things up.”

  1. The goalkeeper is not alone in it. They should arrest the entire team! How on earth? Oh I remember just now. Legend has it that India was, at some point, banned from playing competitive football when it became obvious that their opponents’ goalkeepers were always bewitched and would then fall into hallucinations, making them to see arrows or snakes instead of a football! The implication? Those goalkeepers would simply run away from the goalpost as the ball approached the goal mouth! The power of Indian Talisman, you would say. Maybe, just maybe, the German (?) goalkeeper was also bewitched and suffered some hallucinations, seeing apparitions as the ball approached his goalpost.
