Hazard, 25, has flourished under the Italian so far this season, scoring six goals in 15 appearances for the Blues.

Conte’s switch to a 3-4-3 system has catapulted Chelsea into first place in the Premier League and Hazard’s been a crucial part of the Blues’ reinvigorated attack.

It’s taken a surprisingly short amount of time for Conte to turn things around at Stamford Bridge but he says Hazard’s been a key part of that transformation and says he’s shocked at the winger’s maturity.

‘Eden’s talent is beyond question, he’s a world class player and a great lad,’ said Conte.

‘He has a surprising maturity for his age.’
