Chelsea winger Pedro continued his superb revival for the Blues this season with a stunning equaliser in today’s 2-1 win over Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.
The Spaniard now has three goals and three assists in his last three home games for Antonio Conte’s side, and is relishing his new role under the Italian tactician and his 3-4-3 system.
Conte himself recently described Pedro as ‘perfect’ for this system, and there’s another stat that will persuade the former Juventus boss that the 29-year-old absolutely has to keep on playing ahead of Willian.
Remarkably, in the nine games in which he’s scored for Chelsea, they’ve been on the winning side every time.
Although the former Barcelona wide-man didn’t get off to the best of starts last year, he still scored in six different games – victories against West Brom, Sunderland, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Walsall.
This season he’s also scored in wins over Manchester United, Everton, and now today’s latest against Tottenham.
