Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is keen on a move for Dimitri Payet but West Ham would demand at least £35 million for the winger, according to reports.

Mourinho wants to add pace to his side and is in the market for a new winger in January.

The Sunday Mirror claims that Payet is a big admirer of the France international but the Hammers would reject any bid from United in the upcoming window.

West Ham are concerned that the 29-year-old has suffered from a dip in form due to the speculation surrounding his future.

Payet, who was signed for £10.7m from Marseille last year, was the standout star for West Ham last season, scoring nine goals and registering 12 assists in 30 Premier League appearances.
