A former acting polytechnic rector, Chief Udele Emuhohwo, has slumped and died at a hotel in Ughelli, Delta State during an alleged sex session with a yet-to-be-identified female teenager.
The unidentified teenager was said to have been bewildered by the development, raising the alarm and alerting neighbors at the hotel.
The sources added that the former rector, from the Federal Polytechnic, Ekowe, Bayelsa State, was swiftly rushed to a private clinic, few kilometres from the hotel where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
The source, a security officer, said “He had gone to the hotel in company of a female teenager and booked a room for an hour of love session with the girl.”
According to him, “The girl raised an alarm when the chief slumped, but absconded following reports that the victim was confirmed dead.”
“Though no arrest has been made in connection with the incident, a female manager of the hotel was arrested for questioning but has since been released,” the source added.
As at the time of filing this report, family members of deceased were said to be holding a meeting at the Rector’s Upper Agbarho residence on the next line of action.
“We are having a meeting with elders of the family if an autopsy would be conducted after which we would take a stand on the matter,” a family source was quoted to have said.
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Police Command, DSP Aniamaka Andrew, would not pick calls put to his mobile phone before filing this report.
