Daley Blind fears that he could be sold in Manchester United’s summer sale, according to reports.
The Daily Mirror claims that the Netherlands international, who was signed by Louis van Gaal for £13.8 million in September 2014, has told those closest to him that he doesn’t expect to stay at Old Trafford beyond the summer.
The 26-year-old has started nine Premier League games this season but his place is reportedly under threat as Jose Mourinho looks to re-build United’s defence.
Matteo Darmian, Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo and Chris Smalling have also been linked with moves away from United at the end of the campaign.
Bayern Munich’s David Alaba is among the names tipped to be brought in by Mourinho at the end of the season, while Sweden centre-back Victor Lindelof is expected to leave Benfica either in the January window or the summer.
‘I’ve scheduled interviews with some of the biggest clubs in Europe to talk about his future, Lindelof’s agent, Hakan Cetinkaya, told Record.
‘The most important thing is for the deal to be done at the right moment. But I’m optimistic.
‘There’s a good chance he’ll leave the club this winter. If not, it’ll be next summer.’
