Arsenal aren’t good enough to win the League title but Chelsea can, says Arsenal legend

Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright believes his old club aren’t good enough to win the Premier League title this season – and is tipping rivals Chelsea to be crowned champions come May.

The Gunners went into second place behind the Blues with an emphatic 5-1 win against West Ham on Saturday.

Arsene Wenger’s side have lost just one league game so far this term and appear far more settled compared to rivals Manchester City and Manchester United.

However, Wright believes Chelsea look the strongest given their formidable form and says the Gunners don’t possess enough quality to come out on top.

‘No I don’t think so, especially after how Chelsea played,’ said Wright, when asked if Arsenal can win the title.

‘They seem to have the momentum at the moment.

‘I haven’t seen anything from Arsenal’s last three or four games to make me think they’re there yet.’
