Shanghai Shenhua have offered John Terry a £12 million deal to quit Chelsea, according to reports.
The Sun claim that the 36-year-old has been offered a one-year contract by the Chinese Super League club which would see him earn £12m after tax.
The Chelsea captain has also been informed by the club that he is unlikely to be offered a new deal after his contract expires at the end of the season.
Terry could make the move when the January transfer window opens next month, with the Chinese Super League set to begin in February.
Shanghai Shenhua, who finished fourth in the table last season, are now managed by Terry’s former Chelsea team-mate Gus Poyet.
