Chelsea forward Diego Costa has warned the club’s Premier League title rivals that he’s yet to find his best form this season.
The Spaniard’s notched 12 goals in 17 appearances for Antonio Conte’s side this season and bagged the winner in a crucial 1-0 win against West Brom on Sunday.
The 28-year-old has refound his form under Conte this term and, alongside a rejuvanated Eden Hazard, has helped Chelsea to the top of the Premier League table.
However, in a worrying admission for Chelsea’s title rivals, Costa says he’s still below his best.
‘I am in great form, but not the best,’ said Costa after West Brom’s win.
‘The best way to attack is to defend well.
‘They [West Brom] had a few chances in the beginning, but we are well compact, organised and strong and that makes it easier for the way we attack.’
