Cesc Fabregas recorded his 100th Premier League assist in Chelsea‘s thrilling 4-2 home victory over Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
The 29-year-old midfielder who, of course, also spent eight seasons with Arsenal, was the provider for Willian’s goal to make it 3-2 against Mark Hughes’ men.
Fabregas had earlier swung in the corner which Gary Cahill headed home in the 34th minute of the clash at Stamford Bridge.
The Spanish World Cup winner becomes only the fourth player in the history of the Premier League to achieve such a feat.
Ryan Giggs (162), Frank Lampard (102) and Wayne Rooney (101) are the other legends in the elite group to have recorded 100 assists during their time in the English top flight.
Incredibly, it has only taken 293 appearances for Fabregas to reach the 100 mark – it took Chelsea icon Lampard 559 games to do the same!
Giggs, meanwhile, did it in in 367 appearances and Rooney provided his 100th assist in his 445th league match.
