We just love awards season because, it is the time we fest our eyes on gorgeous dresses. Celebrities always try to undo themselves. The Oscars, especially, which is the pinaccle of Hollywood, is the time the celebrities bring out their very best, and this time was no exception. Here are our Best Dressed at the Oscars Awards:
Jessica wowed us at the Oscars wearing a metallic kaufman Franco gown. Even her husband, Justin Timbalake was beyond impressed. “I call it perfection” he told E! I also agree.
One of the biggest stars of awards seasons, Emma Stone strutted the red carpet, in a winning look. She wore a golden Givenchy gown, with a swingy fringe detail. Her finger waves and red lips, complete the Gatsby-esque look.
The best actress nominee for Loving looked gorgeous and elegant in a long-sleeved Valentino gown. “It’s beautiful and I love it,” Negga told USA TODAY about her headband, and ethically sourced rubies. Her blue ribbon, which was seen on many stars, signified her support of the ACLU
The neckline, that slit, and the ruffles all made the dress both sexy and chic. I would love that in my closet.
Hailee stole the show, wearing a Ralph & Russo gown, which was decorated with soft florals. It was a beautiful and refreshing look.
The Hidden Figures star looked like a classic screen siren in an off-the-shoulder Alberta Ferretti gown. A dazzling diamond necklace by Nirav Modi was the icing on the cake.
The best supporting actress nominee for Hidden Figures shined in a full and feathery Marchesa gown. Forevermark Diamonds topped off her fun, fabulous look.
She was a winner even before she walked out onto that stage. Davis, who took home the Oscar for best supporting actress for her role in Fences, looked radiant in a beautiful Armani Prive gown.
A dramatic shape makes Dunst’s Dior gown anything but your basic black dress. A shorter hemline shows off the Hidden Figures actress’ shoes.
There isn’t much that will get Janelle Monáe out of her signature black and white, but apparently the Oscars is on the list. While the actress did not stray far from her favored palette — a way to “pay homage” to her “working-class roots,” she has said — she added stunning gold and silver details in a straight-off-the-runway Elie Saab couture dress.
The stars did come home to roost!
