Massimiliano Allegri tells Arsenal board which transfer he wants to make first

Massimiliano Allegri has told Arsenal that one of his top targets is Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to reports.

The Sunday Express claim that Allegri has a verbal agreement to replace Arsene Wenger at the end of the season, although the Frenchman has not indicated whether he will sign the two-year contract that’s on offer.

But the report also alleges that the Juventus manager has already been in talks with the Arsenal hierarchy and has passed on his shortlist of transfer targets.

One of the names Allegri has mentioned is Milinkovic-Savic, who has impressed for Lazio this season.

The box-to-box midfielder has four goals and three assists in 24 Serie A appearances this season.

The 22-year-old’s current contract with Lazio runs until 2020 and although the Italian club are keen to renew, the Serb will not enter negotiations before the season has finished.
