Bayern Munich pay tribute to retiring Lahm and Alonso (Photos)

Saturday brought the curtain down on the Bundesliga season and in Bayern Munich’s final game against Freiburg the Bavarians and the rest of the football world said their goodbyes to Philipp Lahm and Xabi Alonso.

Lahm has played for Bayern for his entire career bar a loan spell at Stuttgart whilst Alonso’s career saw him take in Real Sociedad, Liverpool and then Real Madrid before he moved to Germany.

Together at Bayern the pair won three Bundesliga titles in a row, as well as 2015-16 DFB-Pokal and between them they also have two Champions League titles and two World Cup trophies as well as countless others.
