What Europa League glory means to United fans… (Video)

It is only football, and it can never banish the pain felt by many in Manchester after the horrific attack on their city.

But at least Manchester United can give something back to their community, and a European trophy should never be sniffed at.

“We know things like this are very sad all over the world. We had to focus. Manchester – we won for them. We played for England, we played for Manchester and we played for them — the people who died,” said French midfielder Paul Pogba.

Judging by the reaction of these fans in Manchester, the 2-0 final success against Ajax in Stockholm was the ideal tonic.
