Manchester United captain, Wayne Rooney has admitted Everton is the only Premier League club he will play for if he leaves Old Trafford.
Rooney appears to have bid United farewell, in the Europa League final win over Ajax.
Although he has been linked with a return to Goodison Park, he is also attracting interest from China and MLS.
“There’s lots of offers on the table, both in England and abroad, and really that’s what I have to decide on,” Rooney said after the Europa League final.
“As the manager said before, he wants me to stay, but… I just have to make a decision in terms of a football decision, and that’s what I’ll do. I’ll do that the next few weeks with my family while I’m away.
“That’s the decision I have to make now, whether i want to continue doing that or go on and play more regular football.”
Asked specifically about moving back to Everton, he said: “I’ve played for two Premier League clubs and they’re the only two Premier League clubs I’ll play for.”
