See photos of IPOB members protest in Aba

Despite the fact that their activities have been banned in the country, members of the Indigenious People of Biafra IPOB, yesterday held a protest march in Aba, Abia state. The protesters say their demand is for the Federal government to agree to a referendum so they can go and form their own country. The Nigerian Army in September 2017 proscribed the group’s activities, describing them as a militant terrorist organization.

  1. If anyone thinks that the will of the people of Biafra can be suppressed by any force, they must be joking
Such people should go and supress the rampaging Hausa/Fulani herdsmen and their northern oligarch sponsors
All those that chose to remain Hausa/Fulani slaves can continue, Biafrans will not be a part of such 21st century slavery

  2. Sunny,
I’ve followed a lot of your comments on this forum and they’re usually tribalistic in nature. Can you pls show me yourself among the people? I’m sure you are somewhere in western world and probably typing from the comfort of your living room.
If you think we haven’t achieved as a nation, i want to tell you now that division will not take us anywhere or alleviate the situation of the country but even worsen it. Nigeria is just like a state in USA which harbor different people from different culture and so elsewhere in the world.
Let’s desist from racist words and attitudes to uphold the nation. Let we igbos fight and show positive attitudes to be at the top rather than trying to split the country up for self interests. We always sell our birth rights cheaply and we are our own downfalls.
United we stand, divided we fall. Biko
