As photos and videos from the wedding ceremony of Africa richest man, Aliko Dangote’s daughter, Fatima has continued to surface, it has been revealed that Aliko Dangote personally shopped for the diamond and luxury designer wrist watch Fatima Dangote wore to the grand finale of her wedding ceremony to Jamil Abubakar, which held at Eko hotel and Suites, Lagos.
Celebrity makeup artiste, Banke Meshida-Lawal who made the disclosure as she shared photos of the luxury items, wrote;

A Harry Winston watch cost as much as $32,000, and that was what Fatima Dangote wore to her wedding ceremony last night, which had dignitaries like Billionaire Microsoft founder, Bill Gates, Wife of President Buhari, Aisha Buhari, her daughter Zahra Buhari, son in-law Mohammed, Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo, former Vice President Namadi Sambo, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Head of State, Yakubu Gowon, Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Bovi and many others in attendance.
Before the couple’s wedding ceremony in Lagos, Fatima, daughter of Africa’s Forbes-Listed Billionaire, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Jamil, the pilot son of former Inspector General (IG) of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, a Kamu/Yini night was hosted by her grandmother, Dr Hajiyya Mariya Sanusi Dantata in Kano, as part of her wedding rites.
The Kamu Amariya is one of the oldest events in the Hausa wedding ceremony. Kamu means catch the bride. The groom’s family comes around to negotiate with the bride’s friends, for her release to them. The groom’s family is expected to be willing to pay any price to have her. This is a fun event and negotiation may take up to 30 minutes followed by a fun reception.
