Governor Dankwambo who advised Nigerian youths to get their PVC, tweeted;

“As Big Brother Nigeria comes to an end, I hope our ever hard working youths will join us in voter registration drive and encouraging other Nigerians to register.

“Go get your PVC.”

Congratulations Miracle. I just heard 30million people voted in Big Brother finals and about 170million voted in all. Interested in ideas of how we can get the youths interested in our electoral process just like they are interested in #BBNaija. Ideas please. Go get your PVC

If you don’t have a PVC or participate in the electoral process, then why are you complaining of bad leaders? Go and get your Voters Card. It is your passport to a good life.

Governor Dankwambo had before now tweeted;

Spending 24hrs on a queue to get your #PVCis more important than watching #BigBrotherNaija all day. There’s no future in #BBNaija3. Join hands with fellow young people to rescue Nigeria.

This is coming few hours after we reported that Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha made a new disclosure while addressing newsmen in Owerri on Saturday. According to him, in order to take part in various activities in Imo State, including receipt of salaries, civil servants must get their PVC.

Governor Rochas Okorocha who noted that many people in the state are not concerned about getting their voters’ card, stated that residents of the state will not be able to participate in socio-economic activities such as payment of salaries and getting admission into schools in the state without the PVC.

    • @aniekeme votes are begining to count. That is why Goodluck spent all d money but d people(those wt PVCs) voted massively for change.

      Yes its difficult to eliminate electoral fraud but d process is getting more transparent

  1. Typical Nigerians, we trivialize almost everything. The way we are going about this PVC thing is like we are now making fun of it. Shouldn’t the emphasis be on ensuring good governance as a way of getting more people want to be involved in giving their people good life? Even if you get your PVC is it not these same evil people that are parading themselves as the faces of the new Nigeria that will seek for our vote. Emphasis should always be on GOOD GOVERNANCE!

      • I just read your response and I am compelled to react. Why would you call a fellow citizen an Erectile Disfunction (sic, its spelt dysfunction) for saying his opinion. That is rude and uncultured and to worsen it ED made a very sound contribution you should have appreciated. Can you tell me a credible alternative to Buhari today if you are to make a choice. Good governance should be the way.. not people shouting PVC PVC..

        • Truly, there’s no need calling ourselves names on this platform. However, you guys are on point. Emphasis on good governance and PVC collection are very key towards salvaging this country. We youths indeed must play our own part. We must not continue to short-changed ourselves by leaving the politics to the few un enlightened all in the name of being aggrieved. Imagine truly, the number of people that came out online to vote for the frivolity and emptiness called bbn that has no where to take our destinies to. If we can channel this same commitment to improve our governance, I think Nigeria will be a better place. I have always advocated for e-voting. And I am of the opinion that this could be achieved thru massive youths commitment. If we truly want to save the future of this nation, we need to re-orientate ourselves and be more focused and responsible, not chasing after fantasy. It is so annoying seeing the calibre of some of the people that are ruling us. Lying and heartless leaders! It’s high time we came up and disprove the president’s comment about the youth, else, he’s right!
