Fani-Kayode, in a tweet on Friday, went as far back as 1999 to prove his stance.

According to him, former leaders like Musa Yar’Adua, Goodluck Jonathan and even the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari, came into power because Obasanjo took sides with them.

“OBJ endorsed himself in 1999: he won.

“OBJ endorsed himself in 2003: he won.

“OBJ endorsed Yar’Adua in 2007: he won.

“OBJ endorsed GEJ in 2011: he won.

“OBJ endorsed Buhari in 2015: he won.

“OBJ has endorsed Atiku in 2019: he will win,” he wrote.

Obasanjo, on Thursday, endorsed his former deputy, Atiku Abubakar, who is running for the 2019 presidency on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

  1. As who? As What? Father or owner of Nigeria? You see, when a mad man like Femi Fani-Kayode talks, you really won’t be in doubt that there is something seriously wrong with his mental state. Nigerians will shame all of you!

  2. I feel some people think Nigeria is their personal property. How do feeling remorseful and begging for pardon now translate to correcting the errors of the past if truly Atiku was corrupt as Chief Obasanjo made us to believe? How will settling personal scores between two individuals (who obviously know the reasons they fought the war of attrition) enhance Nigeria’s polity? How has this penitence changed the well being of the common man on the street? At what point did Atiku become a good leader that will do better then Buhari? These and other pertinent questions should be asked by well meaning Nigerians, those of us that can never be fooled just like that.
