A Dallas nurse who recovered from Ebola has been reunited with her dog Bentley, who has spent 21 days in quarantine.
Pham contracted the virus after voluntering to treat and care for the Liberian patient, Thomas Eric Duncan, who died on October 8. Pham recovered and was released October 24 from a Washington, D.C – area hospital.
The dog, Bently has tested negative for Ebola and that his 21-day quarantine- the Ebola incubation period – ends Saturday, November 1st 2014. Bently was taken to a special isolation room. He has been treated by Veterinarians and other works every day. On Thursday, he tested negative for Ebola for a third time.
This morning, the pair were reunited privately on Saturday at the secret location near the Texan city where he had been isolated since she fell ill.
