African champions, Nigeria, will play host to five-time World Cup winners, Brazil in an international friendly on 29 March, 2015. President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick disclosed that the federation has got the green light from its match agent and that the Super Eagles will go up against the South American nation in a warm-up match.
The Akwa Ibom International Stadium is an all-seater national sports stadium located in Uyo, the State Capital of Akwa Ibom. This stadium serves as a hmoe to the Nigerian Super Eagles, the Akwa United F.C as well as a center for various social, cultural, and religious events.
The contract for the construction of this state-of-the-art Stadium was awarded in 2012 to Julius Berger and was completed in 2014. It is an ultra modern multipurpose sports complex with about 30,000 seater.
