LETTER TO Mr. President, Goodluck Jonathan

Dear Mr. President,

With due respect Sir, I write this letter with high hopes that it reaches you with a sober heart and a pair of open ears.

In Maiduguri, Borno State, 54 Soldiers were accused of mutiny, assault, cowardice and refusing to fight members of Boko Haram in the north eastern part of the Country and a judgement “sentenced to death by firing squad for mutiny” has been placed upon them.

Fellow Nigerians have cried out for helps, and your response towards this determines our fate. I speak for a large demographic of Nigerians that have long awaited Mr. President to speak in a direct tone before the Soldiers would be condemned to death by firing squad.

We strongly believe in the voice of the people because it is also the voice of God! I believe that when a son asks his father for a fish; he cannot offer him “snake” instead.

Many of us, whether we admit it or not, looked to you for some form of moral support. We do not want to die. We do not want the Soldiers to die (instead find alternatives for their punishments). We do not want more bloodshed after so much that have happened especially in the Northern Part of Nigeria.

We totally agree with the laws guiding Soldiers about mutiny but I don’t want to find excuses for defence. Instead we plead for mercy to consider many bloods that have been sacrificed in Nigeria recently. Some reports say “how can you face a battle with an assault rifle aiming at your face while you are not equipped”? But we are not giving you that as an excuse.

I personally believe in PEACEFUL Demonstrations, the fellow Nigerians have spoken against judgement pronounced upon them and pleaded for mercy. You may refer to See Comments here.

With much hope for your leadership and with great admiration for your accomplishments thus far, Please help us fight against this condemnation as the “right side history awaits you” based on this.

We love you and respect you. We are simply asking you to help us on this matter.

God Bless you! And God continues to Bless NIGERIA!!!

Humbly,

ADELOVE.

  1. Those soldiers deserve to die, bcuz d law must be implemented, they know d law more than u do, they knw if they fail to obey the law d punishment is death. They sign their death warrant with their own hand so why pity them?. They are scared to fight against common bokoharam who have no military skills, hmmm dey really deserve to die( those soldier just dey talk say dem nor get better guns,i beg try ask them if nw walking stick dem carry or na toy ). Martial court i like u judgment, d law must follow is full course.

    • Ogbomure how many iaws did this govt violate? My be because non of ur relatives is involve. If this govt can pardon people like former govn of bayelsa state for looting state treasury then i see no reason why the soldiers can not be pardon. Now tell me which law allow the president to be sworn in three times that jonathan is trying to be sworn if he win the election. By God grace he will not win the 2015 general election. For ur information am a hausa/fulani by tribe and a muslim so am talking as a nigerian.

    • they
are military personel not civilian like me and u.they have martial law
which they must uphold. nw tell me where is d bravery of d arm forces of
Nigeria if they run away frm their fight.this will continue if d law is
not abide. law is law and it must be implemented, they knw dey are
father, husband, etc and they sign death warrant with their own hand,do
they think being a soldier is a child play?. they deserved d punishing.
they are only Beingcoward to run frm common bokoharam.

    • The authaurities in the Military should be sanctioned for not getting the right and needed equipments for the Army. GEJ had never denied the required budgets for the Military, BUT because most Officers have become “pepesoup officers” all because there was peace, so sharing of such funds continued unabated. Maj Umar and Ogbugbuaja made this clarion call sometimes ago, but noone listened. Lets pray and allow GEJ to be guided by God on this issue. He his a man of peace and Godly too.

    • frm my analysis i find out Nigeria soldier lack discipline and is a shame to d nation and s military organisation.where is their bravery?. if na to kill civilian dem go fit kill them. make una fight bokoharam una dey talk nonsense say no better gun,ask them if na stick dey their hand.

    • @Reuben if u are talking about d violation of law I tell u nobody will go unpunished. It is obvious dt d crisis in Maiduguri is far beyond what dose guys can face. U send ds men to attack n latter call d enemies to lay ambush and kill ds guys. What else do we say about many soldiers dt have lost their lives in d course of discharging their duty without compensation. Well anybody can say dey should die but d question remain will u repeat d same if any of ur relatives is involved?

    • wen
i wanted to enlist into d arm forces i sign my death warrant and to
obey d military laws. so why complain for nonchalant excuse of those
soldiers. been it my father d law must be implemented, being a soldier is
not a child play it need total devotion and commitment.

    • Assuming that there is one of your relatives among those solders, how would feel????????????? Your own time is coming. We are praying for Almighty Allah to bostow his mercy upon them and find a right sollution for them.

    • you are a foolish man Reuben and senseless being Reuben you called book haram”common bokoharam
you forget, perhaps you don’t read/make research is the second most dangerous terrorist group in the world after Isis
if one of them is your brother, am sure you won’t reason that way
GEJ requested for 1 billion us dollar to purchased equipment, no one account for how the money was spent

    • @Reuben Are u nt a man why can’ t u volunteer urself 2 go n fight d BH,abi na only big mouth u carry wt evil words full ur belle, u talk any how on wat u don’t know. Better wakeup.

    • Reuben. I pray may bh visit ur family and wipe out all of dem. Ur comment here really showz dat u’re a capital illeterate who reasons with his anus. How can a security agent who signed for only 30 or 60 rounds of amnunitions could face an enemy who armed himself with sofisticated weapons Such as: Anti Aircraft (AA) VVL, Rocket launcher, Explosions etc. I also guessed u’re a haramist.

    • Well, this matter is complicated but let’s forgive these ones and start looking into the issue of corruption in the area of weapon funding and salaries/allowances, these are the things that will motivate the officers.

    • sabiu idris thank u very much for ur comment but honestly speaking i see madness in ur eyes and brain. even d bokoharam is an Islamic sect what have ur iman done abt it?. mad religion which pose problem to d world.northern are d problem to dis country.

    • Reuben u take like u r nut educated.. I go tru ur profile all I see is failure, women av eating up ur brain n left u wit jux empty skull. Der was recruitment last few mnths y didn’t u go for it since u knw law n see wat dose bois r passing tru, dnt worry dose innocent blood will judge u n dogs shall feed on ur miserable flesh n reserve ur bones to tell d story of ur miserable life…

    • hahahahahaahah i like ur comment mad man,nor be only dog go chop even vulture go still chop d flesh.ure d biggest fool on earth i have ever heard is voice. see as u take am so personal idiot @mykel authority

    • Its a pity that Mr pity die on a pity day I don’t believe a reasonable and educated Nigerian can b talking like this no wonder he said even if he’s father is one of those soldiers wat do u expect from a bastard .may God Almighty help us in this country

    • it
getting interesting and really funny nw i see how stupid some Nigerians
are.u guys want fair government and u want corrupt soldier to uphold to
mutiny. u guys are really foolish d military law must be uphold. i
support d eradication of those unscrupulous arm men.

    • it getting interesting and really funny nw i see how stupid some Nigeria are.u guys want fair government and u want corrupt soldier to uphold to mutiny. u guys are really foolish d military law must be uphold. i support d eradication of those unscrupulous arm men.

    • Two America soldier was sentence to life in imprisonment for killing innocent Afghanistan citizen during war,why not America military let d soldier Scot free after all dey where enemies of USA?. becus dey wanna uphold to d military constitution d law must be abide to and implemented.in US if soldier disobey is superior officer is charge with treason and d penalty is death. Why must Nigeria be different?. We are too sentimental with serious issues, military strength and unity rest of obeying order and obligation no matter d challenge. Let make Nigeria a law abiding state.

    • One word for u Mr OGBEMURE REUBEN. If you or Mr gej was to fight this boko guy will u go. Honest answer. You think military guys have 9lifes. I have seen what happens to their family after their death. So Mr if u got nothing to say seat back and watch Disney.

  2. You see now,if it is according to military law they must die because that is what they bargain for.if it oshodi or mko garden they were sent to they will be barraging because we did not hold nife now criminals with gun they are giving excuse how many ammunition do they buy to stop subside rally.pls for God sake let them be forgiving and reduce the punishment..we have lost a lot of family to this criminals call boko haram so don’t let us kill this people again.

  3. Y dnt we leave that with d nig army nd allow d president 2 continue his focus nd direction towards economic things 4 transformation agenda archivement. Pls dnt let’s distract our president

  4. @Ogbemure Reuben, you should shut up if have nothing reasonable to say. Who told you the soldiers were well equipped for war against boko haram? The military hierachy hopelessly mismanaged the funds meant for logistic supplies, and thus left the soldiers bare and handicapped to prosecute the war. Apart from logistics, the morals of the soldiers ebbed because their allowances and other dues were not paid when due. How can one performs without adequate incentives? That was the lot of the soldiers. No motivations; Yet,somebody wants them to perform wonders against well equipped boko haram. Gej should pardon them. Enough bloods have been shed and shedding more would be revolting.

  5. Yes they disobeyed the martial law which am sure they have a stronger reason than what we are been told in our half truth media. but their sin is not as weighty as the ones committed regulary by our polliticians yet non of them is been prosecuted. my plead goes to the commander in chief of arm forces to temper justice with mercy as two wrongs don’t make a right. killing these soldiers will be a plus to the insurgents. God blesd Nigeris

  6. @ ogbemure pls mind hw u place ur view bcos u ar not in d same state wit dem caryin d same weapon dey ar caryin. U ar not an eye witness. Av u askd ursef y our soldier perform in luberia but fail to perform in nigeria, pls find out y

    • don’t
claimed victory for Nigeria soldiers, they are not d only one there for d
peace keeping, all Africa soldiers were involve with d aid of A.U. so
stop saying Nigeria fought d battle them selves. what abt other Africa countries?

  7. Nobody should insult each other. We were not there when they misbehaved. Military law is military law and it has been made even before Goodluck became President. And it must be followed religiously..the only thing we can do is to allow God to intervene just like what God did for Diya and others.so Mr President as the best President Nigeria has ever produced it behooves on him to rescue them through presidential pardon and amnesty.

  8. Ade Love, thanks for your letter. The letter should have also emcompassed the plight and release of Lt Col A Wendu, Commanding Officer 103 Bn.fighting the boko haram in Maiduguri. His offence: He addressed a letter to the President complaining of the bottlenecks militating against the war efforts withouting routing it through his superior officer. He is currently being detained in Abuja by Army authorities. He deserves our sympathy and attention. #FreeLt.Col.WenduNow

  10. Pls such issues should be critically looked into by the President & senate. We cant just waste humans like that & if we talk about justic, what about the names we have been hearing that are responsible for the funding of this group, what have been done?

  11. Emma praise i see u have just displayed a fair shear of ur shallowness i don’t blame u….a soldier can’t harras u unless u don wrong….and as for those saying the were equipped u just wanna talk…this is just to show what the government fund is been used for..even blamed runnig broke(Economic crisis) was due partly due to the billions it spent on security ie..equipping it’s Army and the God forsaking, useless Government can’t even ensure the proper management of fund…the top Military legislator ar the one that should face Mutiny cus the poor boys sent to war ar ill girded and using very less pricisive weapons( Ak47) for christ sake no one use that it’s outdated..take for instance Cameroon and how well equipped it’s Army is..teh so called Okoharam had a hard tym with them at the Borders…trust me every thing is wrong with the civilian regime if those soldier are really gonna face firing squard then it won’t be too long b4 there will be an overtrowing Government by angry Military personnel…they might think in this twenty first century it’s impossible..buh trust impossible is too conclusive…it will be Bloody..am jus saying

  12. Let tell President Goodluck Jonathan to continue he is trying, since he is in power fight at all the fuel station in Nigeria have stopped both ordinary days and Xmas season like this, Jonathan is a good leader, some Nigerians that are making noise cannot ever control their families, not talking the Nation as a whole, Jonathan is in front and he cannot because somebody at the back is complaining, then he decide to go back, it is not done, it is duty of someone behind to complain, Jonathan is not killer like other past lenders, Jonathan is working is working hard and all peace loving Nigerians knows this.Jonathan went to school, he is Educated, you never expect him to behave like a retired soldier who did not go to university., Nigerians does not want any one that has military blood in him again in power.

  13. Let’s not quarrel here. However, when I remember Salisu Buhari, Evans Enwerem, Sgt Rogers and Alamiesiegha, and seeing that what happened in Iraq, Somalia and Syria is staring us in the face, my sincere thought is : killing these soldiers should not be our priority.

  14. How can a soldiers go for a war without a weapons that is the reason why their escaped from the battles and protest in other 4 government to reason with them and provide a weapons 4 them in other to able to fight the battle with boko haram and at the end of their strongle is death sentence. May god help Nigeria

  15. Muhammadu Buhari Those who are afraid of the
change we seek are the people
    destroying our country and
    stunting its progress. They are
the same people who spent four
years in power without improving our electricity by a
    single megawatt, the same
    people who spent four years
    downgrading high-level
    corruption to common stealing,
the same people who spent four years watching over terrorists
    desecrating our territorial
    sovereignty, the same people
    who spent four years without
    laying the critical infrastructure
for sustainable growth and job creation; those same people are
now asking you for four more
    years. No right thinking Nigerian
would wish that our next four
years look like the last four.
Change has to come, and it
    begins with you getting
registered and spreading our message of change and hope,
from sibling to sibling, family to
    family, neighbourhood to
    neighbourhood; in our schools,
in our market places, in every
community, and in every gathering. This time Nigeria must get it
    right. The stakes have never
    been higher, the choices have
never been clearer. It is either a
    change for a stronger, more
united and more prosperous Nigeria; or four more years of
    corruption, insecurity and bad
    leadership.

  16. They should b pardoned, it was nt their fault. They can not fight bh without adequate, weapons. And its d weapons people are afraid of not d soldiers. Hence the need for weapon to enable thm discharge their responsibility.

  17. I have not been able to rest since I got to know of the plight of these soldiers. For GOD sake, a lot of young soldiers (poorly equipped) have been massacred by the Boko Haram terrorists especially through ambush; why are the top ranked military personnel not being questioned? The judgement passed on these soldiers (if executed) may bring an unimaginable revolt in the Nigerian Army. WITH ALL HUMILITY, I PLEAD WITH OUR HONOURABLE PRESIDENT & COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF, GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN TO TEMPER JUSTICE WITH MERCY; PLS DO NOT SIGN THE DEATH PENALTY.

  18. hmmmmm! i cant emerging how Nigeria will look in 2015 nd above if jonathan wins the ELECTION!.. everywher will b full of BLOOD, POVERTY, INCREASE IN PRICE, DEFORMATION OF ECONOMY, PETROL WILL INCREASE TO #200naira bcos he knows he cant go 4 d third time, he reduce d price to #97naira bcos he was going 4 d next election! if he wins NIGERIA will b a country of WAR, CRIME, &BLOODY… i dnt think he has ever do any gud thing in his regim! my APOLOGY, please, can u convince me with the good thing he has done? so i can stop dis complain!

    • Kai don’t b crazy u prophesied 2 ur house n ur descendants Ok! Never use negative words against my country. U r NOT gods Stupid, 4 d sek of GeJ every part of Naija can not b bloody or what of u nonsense!!!

    • Guy, President GEJ will Devinely and definately win the 2015 presidential elegtion, boko haram is beeing used to make the country ungovernable, for GEJ, by those who think, they alone should rule Nigeria, as you can see, they are loosing, GEJ is winning all the way through,

    • lolz! haha! see bunch of novice? he for just 3 years he spent! can you mention the number of people dat died in north? if he wins again, do u knw where they will start again? apart from that, do u know things ar now expensive 400% than b4 he was a president? petrol will be the most espensive thing in the country again! i knw why u ar crying bcos of him! bcos he was ur tribe! bt me! i dnt mind who wins bt not him! this is too much! if he wins! u wouldnt av any benefit, nd it will surely affect u! save my comments till then!

    • im a man of no party or ethnic! im jxt calling 4 d peaceful people to rule, he is 2 bloody! the ever worst government in nigeria is his regim! i want u to say d fact! im not following any party, nd im not into any etnic race! all nigerian are my family!

    • He must win crime in u family war in u family blood in u family not in nigerian buhari promies him dat he will make sure he make nigerian ungovetnable 4him dat y dey are kill inocent people dont worry wen d anger of d GOD will come even suporter will be punished wicked tribe and wicked people.

  19. MUTINY!!! Sometimes ago, while watching an Indian Film, I was baffled by a statement from a dying soldier who said that “a soldier lives by chance, loves by choice & kills by profession” but, the actor didn’t state how a soldier dies. Could this be the reason for the common saying that “A soldier’s mother is a childless mother?” GOD HAVE MERCY!!!

  20. While pleading for their pardon, it’s good will comment without sentiment. Those who are there fighting , are they using cane? The fact remain that they are coward or they have sympathy for the BH. They knew the consequences of what they did . If they are pardoned, it’s better they resign. Army job is not for cowards

  21. Please temper justice with mercy our belove father, show to the world that you’re the good father that hit a child with the right hand and take him to side by the left hand. Not only nigerians but the world await your decision. Please show the world how good and merciful your leaderships are.

  22. Mr president would soon enough for all keep saying anything u want to say but I know dat Nigeria has never had a better economy, u agents u think we don’t know what u ar doing. U throw stones from d bush n still come out to ask who is throwing stones. U all must fail. No matter fire u ar setting up GEJ must jump n pass by God’s grace. God is the one who would judge all who is setting this country on fire

  23. Dear Patriots, Monday ,22nd of December has been declaredSolidarity campaign day for General Mohamodu Buhari / Pastor(Prof) Osibajo. We humbly ask you to put up their pictures on your BB, Twitter handles,Facebook, whatapp, and all social medias ! We intend to have 50 million of their pictures up. It is possible!!!! PLS BROADCAST Today we have decided to change the fortune of our dear country and purposely create hope for our generations unborn. A number of us may not know about the days we use to export cocoa, the days of groundnut pyramid, the rubber in Old Bendel state, the days farmers/traders leave their goods in public and buyers take what they need and leave the money in the trays , the days $2 exchanged for N1 , the days young graduates were given Beetle, Citroen or Datsun 120Y cars which comes with an automatic job ! This ”animals in human skin” according to Fela Anikulapo have basterdized our socio-economic lives. This campaign therefore is to re-awaken us that our dear Nigeria has a lot more resources than the collection of the G7 countries of this world (SAD.. isn’t it? )BUT our leaders both past and present have squandered and still squandering our collective wealth. Now divinity has created another opportunity to make a change and we concerned patrots have decided to throw our weight and queue behind a man that had been president and has only one house, former PTF chairman without a petrol station, a disciplined Officer that brought sanity to our everyday lives (WAI), a Muslim that freely dines with Christains, a reserved gentleman that loves Nigeria. We are casting our votes for General Mohamodu Buhari and his running mate Prof (Pastor) Osibajo. Please make Monday 22nd December a date.Thank you And God bless Nigeria.

  24. hey you don’t blame president goodluck jonathan. the government is being a watch dog to each other, all gavernment bodies have an eye on mr president decissions we all are nigerians we no wat is good and bad so dont blame mr president there are forces behind that being the arms of government. understood?

  25. Mr. President should have mercy. Good. But have we checked this action of these soldiers very well? Why is Boko Haram fighters still waxing strong? Because some “loyalists” are there among our soldiers. Have you considered that the military authorities are not blood suckers. They just cant sentence them wtout proper indepth investigations. If OBJ or even GMB were to be in power, do you think these soldiers would do what they did? Pls let us look at it frm every angle before we cast aspersion on innocent fellow. Yes,uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. Everybody has been castigating GEJ of not doing enough to pound BH,yet u still turn around to say he should pardon “moles” in our armed forces who are indirectly professing their loyalty to BH and not Federal Govt of Nigeria they are supposed to. Am not saying they should be killed or not,but they knw what they’re in for. Why is BH gaining upper hand? Is it because we lack soldiers? Or the BH warriors are more equipped than our military?
Dnt forget what Late Gen. Abacha said “if insurgency thrives beyond 24 hours, there are supporters within”. Look at this statement and make ur decision.

  26. Laws are made to be followed, expecially in military. A military man knows himself to have signed death anytime.
The rule of law says that the rule are themselves ruled by the law, but this is a nation where settlement has brought Nigeria to a nation of increased criminal rate, and this start by the rulers themselves. Many go agains laws but are forgiven once there is settlement and this is what has now spread to every association and aspect of life, including the law and the students.
Nevertheless, if the police men misdeed and stupidity could be overlooked and forgiven because now feed by the road side money collected and had corrupted this nation beyond measure, then the soldiers should also be forgiven.
Though this is military and militaries are law abiders, I think they should be forgiven because the policemen are also into Nigeria Force and are forgiven.

    God bless Nigeria…

  27. No wonder, they request sufficient arms istead they giv them death, this is among the promblems of our presidency what you will request is differ frm wht they will gav u, nagative president wth nagetive thinking, all wht is happenin in our country we cause it by our self cos by how a person that study “zoology” can lead people wth humanity???

  28. It is only from the world of wickedness that laws or justice is so rigid . Even the great Laws/Commandments (BIBLE) on which all the laws have their roots aren’t completely wicked or rigid without a passing wind of mercy. Now, if laws will take its effect on these good patriotic Nigerians to the point of death then these set of people have to follow them; Chief of army staff, the procurement officer of Nigeria army , the O.C that caused the death of that Col. who has gone to nine different nations for peace keeping and every Nigerian known to be bokoharam both founder and sponsorer.

  29. Let’s think, we only know they are sentenced to death because of mutiny, but am sure that’s not all. U would be shocked to know the listed names are bokoharam members. Those names are Muslims n trust me inwardly they support the fight against western education. But above all military is military……For those who are pleading for mercy for them, what about those who died because these guys failure to protect them or carry out their duties? Remember there is fresh abduction in chibok n if these sentenced soldiers were on ground they would stopped the insurgents

  32. We the people have resolved, to stand against the tyrany of the general court marshal that condemned our gallant boys. And voiced our unanimous and patriotic call to the military top brass; LET OUR HEROES LIVE!!!

  33. A father has 2 sons, he sent the first son on an erand, he promised to go, but did not, while the second son openly refused to go on the erand, but when the father left, he changed his mind and did did what he was told, now who will the father bless among the two sons??

  34. hunnn……. pardon them mr president…. some talk cheap as if death is water easy to swallow…. creating fear to the young ones who are willing to fight for this nation… where are the arms?? thats the question. @ reuben the two american were killed for killing innocent ones not their enemy. lets face the fact….the soilders weapon is nothing to compare to boko haram…. i wonder what the federal govt is doin about this….if the sponsors can afford to get that arms for boko haram….. does that mean the sponsor is richer than the Federal govt…. ( silence) pls lets think…. take the case of ebola virus.. becos it knew not the rich nor the poor it was fast n serious to curtail….. so? y boko haram??? politics scrap!! Mercy is all we ask!!!! Nigeria soilders are strong very strong, y now they loose their hood,,,,we only heard the money in figure to equip them. the question is where are the weapon??? pls mr president all we ask of his mercy.

  35. First of first the soldiers known their work and what they are train for why not obeying let d law take effect after all nobody force them to be a soldier secondly it’s time we need a change from 1999 to 2014 is okay for a party to delivered so let try another party and another set of people in Nigeria so
    P..
    D
    P goodnight and goodbye

    • How are u sure weapons are not been supplied? A lot of us dnt knw how the whole scenarios are playing out. I did not say they should not be pardoned,if u were part of those killed by BH,u would realize that they have insiders in the govt. C-in-C cannot lead battlefield. He only gives instructions. Get ur facts and stop being abusive my brother!

  36. Some of speak parables, have you people not know dat in Nigeria some of our politicians buy armed and weapon for young men to protect them from their opponents and to fight against their opponents, after the have Been elected do you think the politicians go back to get those weapons from those men,and those weapon are the same weapon those men use for armed robbery and killing of innocent lifes, same thing is applicable here, some are saying they don’t want GEJ to rule us,some say they want BH,and others, want do think will happen if the sponsors of boko haram rules dis nation,do you think boko haram will stop their operation?wat will happen with the high class weapon that were bought to fight, don’t you think that what you did to some other people will be done to you, because wat goes around come around, let boko haram continue one day they shall be fetched out one by one, when madam GEJ made this statement” there is God OK”some people made mockery of her,am also saying “SAYING THERE GOD”

  37. Nigeria soldier running away at the middle of the war is a shame no matter how we view it. Inanycase they should be sent for retraining as they know what they did is a criminal offence.

  38. I can assure you that those soldiers will be pardoned, though it might take time.i trust my president.he derives no joy in seeing people die.God bless us all.i love you all.

  39. Hope those pple hv families, frnds&loved ones, wot heart will the government hv towards killing their soldiers.Again to fight BH one must be well equipped,so lets compare the nature of our country to the provision of this war equippments to our soldiers.our govt is really really poor.NIGERIA JAGA JAGA,EVERYTIN SCATTER SCATTER.

  40. Akinola Babatunde Akinyemi.yes just for this earthly name blood is following like this.I don’t know who gave dat advice is too barbaric just to get to power.can he go to God with dis name president?if no.y killing dis innocents bloody.

  41. No one can make or give life except God,if God can forgive us our sins how much more we humans, eliminating them isn’t d answer, forgiveness is the answer.Long live the president, long live the people of Nigeria.peace and unity shud be our watch word.

  42. It is possible!!!! PLS BROADCAST Today we have decided to change the fortune of our dear country and purposely create hope for our generations unborn. This campaign therefore is to re-awaken us that our dear Nigeria has a lot more resources than the collection of the G7 countries of this world (SAD.. isn’t it? ) BUT our leaders both past and present have squandered and are still squandering our collective wealth with IMPUNITY!. When Buhari wept for Nigeria in 2011, most of us didn’t understand what he saw and the things he’d wished to stop/curb. Now divinity has created another opportunity to make a change and we concerned patriots have decided to throw our weight and queue behind a man that had been President and has only one house, former PTF chairman without a petrol station, a disciplined Officer that brought sanity to our everyday lives (WAI), a Muslim that freely dines with Christians, A man whom people Call a religious bigot and allow his daughter to marry an Anglican man, converted … Read Up Here ;

  43. let us not tarry a while……to seek for pardon on behalf of these soldiers …. have you ask yourself : why is Boko-Haram thriving??? are they stronger than the Nigerian army???? if they are Muslim’s, why do they also kill Muslim’s??? why are our northern brothers who are in position to do something not saying anything despite the fact that their house, state is on fire??? why did American government leave after landing on Nigerian soil and have vowed to help us??? or is it that they Boko-Haram is also stronger than the world powers??? WE HAVE ENEMIES WITHIN WHO DO NOT WANT THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT TO SUCCEED . President Jonathan is flesh and blood just like YOU, SO STOP BLAMING HIM!!!!

  44. We nigerians are so tired of seeing, hearing sounds and cries of innocent children, women and men that our government can no longer protect.Instead of bringing good strategies to secure lives and properties they waste their time dancing campaining ,!why would soldiers not run away when they are not equiped with good weapons, abandoning their families without pension for more than two years,??This is so pathetic to even listen to

  45. This clueless president cannot do anything for those sentenced soldiers no matter how many time all Nigerians would cry out. He is accomplishing his in human mission for the country that has foster him to the kind of person he is today. My only question to this clueless and in human president is that, would you have being alive if the atmosphere of you childhood was as you have made it today with insecurity everywhere? I guessed if it was you would have far being forgotten.

  46. one question for u mr OGBEMURE REUBEN. If you or Mr gej was to fight this boko guy will u go. Honest answer. You think military guys have 9lifes. I have seen what happens to their family after their death. So Mr if u got nothing to say seat back and watch Disney.

  48. when some wealthy politicians were caught by efcc, they were pardoned. But when our young solders who leaves their family and sacrifice their in the name of serving their country were accused simply because they are not wel equip to fight the opposition, they are sentenced to death. If i were in their shoes, i would have done the same. U knw what? Do what ever u want cos 2015 u ar going. Thank u.

  49. u guy should remember that you all are talking about the military, army to be precise. mind u all that the most discipline force among the military, is the Nigeria army and are meant to respect the last order. so it is not like other paramilitary like police, custom and road trafic. they remain the most discipline personnel and that law in their martial court made it so. remember before u join the army all the rules and regulations are stated in the law before signing in for it. is not about joining the military, putting on the uniform and intimidating people in the street with that here is about facing the reality which going to war. they are our lost defense and are to defend the country against external attack. so have that in mind. Nigeria army is not begging people to join the army it is for those that have the mind to be part of the military. if u guys are interceding on their behalf, pls do it accordingly rather than accusing the military and president as well as comparing them with other bodies. no one is happy about the death sentence. personally i am not happy too but by the virtue of the oath of office they swore that day as they were made soldiers, they deserve the death sentence but we all are praying and believing God that they will be pardoned. Amen
