Sources said the soldiers and policemen were deployed to the Glass House by the Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung.

The deployment of the security men to the Glass House followed a court order obtained on Thursday by the Proprietor of Giwa FC, Chris Giwa, who is laying claim to the presidency of the NFF.

Giwa on Sunday announced new members for the Board of the NFF, with a vow to resume at the Glass House on Monday.

The other faction, led by Amaju Pinnick, despite saying that no court order ousted it, has filed for a stay of execution of the court order.

A statement by Pinnick’s lawyer, Festus Keyamo, said there was no such order removing his client from office and there also was no pronouncement on Giwa being the new president of the NFF.
