FG working silently to end Fulani herdsmen, farmers clashes – Lai Mohammed

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Sunday said the Federal Government was working “silently” to put an end to the incessant clashes between Fulani herdsmen and farmers in some parts of the country.

He disclosed that as part of measures towards addressing the menace, President Muhammadu Buhari has set up a panel of inquiry to investigate the recent herdsmen attacks.

Mohammed spoke in Abeokuta during a special prayer for the stability of the nation organised by the Sa’adatul Abadiyyah Organisation of Nigeria, which also turbaned him as its grand patron.

According to him, the effect of the Federal Government’s efforts would be felt within few weeks time.

The minister ‎noted that communal clashes are quite delicate and therefore required tact in finding lasting solution to them.

  1. They have to do so,before triber war break out,if it the southern is doing these to the abokes I kwn that a triber war would have break out,please they should stay away from the south south region of the country espesially Delta state
