Buhari is running government of fraud – Igbo Forum

The Njiko Igbo Forum, NIF, Wednesday threw it’s weight behind the industrial action declared by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, over the removal of fuel subsidy.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Newsmen, President of NIF, Rev. Okechukwu Obioha described the present administration as “a government of fraud and rigmarole.”

He stated that the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration had failed in fulfilling in any of its campaign promises.

While urging the Ayuba Waba led NLC to ignore the industrial court’s ex-parte order, Obioha said “we can’t be talking of any court injunction because this is a government that does not respect rule of law.

“It has flouted so many judgements and orders of court; so we can’t be here talking about the black-market injunction obtained by the AGF.

“Courts of competent jurisdiction gave orders for the release of Nnamdi Kanu as well as Sambo Dasuki but the government never obeyed it; the President started giving reason why the order will not be obeyed; there is also order against electricity tariff increase, it was never obeyed.

“So, we are calling on all Nigerians to sit at home in protest; all the desperate measures by government to stop the strike should not be allowed.

“It is even quite curious that this same government is now recognizing Ajaero faction; the situation is like a lady who is good for friendship but not good for marriage. These are desperate measures.”

The Igbo group further accused President Buhari of trying to silence the voice of opposition, stressing that “the government is confused; it has no direction; that’s why they don’t want anybody to talk. We are no longer practising democracy, we have a pseudo-military administration.

“There is so much dishonesty on the part of this government; so much fraud against the masses and this is the time to resist it.”

  1. Well, this is democracy, so anybody is free to say whatever he likes but where anybody tries to hide under any ethnic group such a person should be stopped from peddling falsehood. For sure, Okechukwu Obioha is not “jiko na” anybody, much less Ndigbo. He is on his own!

  2. Oga NIF, you are right but tell me what the last government can be described as before I tell you if you pass or fail.

  3. This so called Rev Okechukwu Obioha will do better by focusing on his clergy duty instead of going online to run his silly and foul mouth
I wonder what he has to say about the shocking revelation regarding how the immediate past government looted the public fund left, right and centre
Surely Buhari’s government will right most of the wrongs of the past with time
