Jake Collin and Steve Bennett will be Clattenburg’s assistants, with Mike Dean as the fourth official.

Last season, Clattenburg refereed the FA Cup final, and the Champions League final, while he was also given the Euro 2016 final earlier this summer.

The 41-year-old took charge of two Manchester derbies last year – the first in April where United won 4-2 at Old Trafford, while October’s fixture ended in a goalless draw.

Clattenburg attracted headlines in August after he got the Champions League trophy and the Europa League logo tattooed on his arm.
