Fashola Was Embarrassed In Lagos By Electricity Blackout

Nigeria’s Power Minister, Babatunde Fashola was embarrassed when power went off as he mounted the podium to speak at ‘Power Nigeria’ conference at the Eko hotel in Lagos.

In what might be described as situational irony, Mr Babatunde Fashola was embarrassed as light went off during a conference he attended in Lagos.

The minister of power, works and housing had just mounted the podium to speak at the at ‘Power Nigeria’ conference on Tuesday, September 27 at Eko Hotel when the light when off.

A twitter use, Dolapo Oni shared photos of the minister who tried to appear composed during the elecetricity blackout.

Meanwhile, the power sector seems to be getting boost soon as 300 experts from America, Europe, Asia and Nigeria are expected to discuss the problem bedeviling the sector and proffer solution.

The summit has also been endorsed by the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria, the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission Bayelsa State Government, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, the Electricity Commission of Nigeria and the Transmission Company of Nigeria.
