According to reports, the abductors of Margaret, the wife of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, have demanded a ransom of N100 million, Newsmen has learnt.
Impeccable sources told Newsmen that the demand was made shortly after the kidnap of Margaret on Thursday.
She was said to have been kidnapped along the Benin-Agbor Road.
The kidnappers, who got in touch with Emefiele, a top police officer in the Office of the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, told Newsmen, vowed not to release their victim until the ransom is paid.
It was gathered that Idris has deployed the Intelligence Response Team under his office and other crack detectives within the Force to rescue Margaret unhurt and without paying any ransom.
