Alex Iwobi is set to be handed a fresh new Arsenal contract after a set of superb performances have seen him hold down a place in Arsene Wenger’s first XI, reports say.
The Nigerian youngster, 20, has been in scintillating form since he broke into the side and he is now set to get a boost on his £25,000-a-week wages.

The move from the club comes as part of a renewed attempt to tie down their top stars.
They are hoping to convince Hector Bellerin, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut OZil to renew their current deals and Iwobi is also high up on their list of priorities.
Iwobi will also have the chance for a further improved contract later in the season should he keep his good form up.
