The news made the rounds on Friday of a certain unnamed pastor whose late sister’s skeleton was found in his apartment in Peace Land Estate in the Akute area of the state.

Nemesis caught up with the man whose landlady tried to evict him from his flat over late payment of rent, as he had not paid his rent for a year.

In annoyance, the landlady, simply identified as Iya Lati was said to have stormed the apartment, ignoring the pastor’s incessant pleas.

Iya Lato reportedly invaded the pastor’s home, accompanied by some persons, in-order to evict him.

They were, however, thrown into shock as they discovered a human skeleton inside the apartment.

The pastor reportedly confessed, alleging that the skeleton was that of his sister.

According to him, he had two sisters, one of whom was Funmi, suspected to be the deceased.

It was alleged that the said Funmi mysteriously went missing since 2010 till date.

Newsmen contacted the state Police Command’s acting spokesperson, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, whose number was not available for comments as at the time of filing this report.

While Newsmen awaits a response to the message sent to the state PPRO, it was independently gathered that the said pastor has been arrested.
