Speaking with newsmen in Port Harcourt, the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Samuel Wanosike said the party in the state has been justified about its argument that the former governor allegedly misappropriated state funds.

Wanosike further said there is a moral burden on President Mohammadu Buhari to prosecute all those mentioned in the statement of the two Supreme Court Justices.

He, however, called for the resignation of Amaechi as the Minister of Transportation, adding that his resignation will give room for proper investigation of the allegations.

“We of the PDP in Rivers state have been vindicated. We are not surprised because we knew Amaechi was stingingly corrupt. Under his watch over three points, something close to trillion was misused.

“President Mohammadu Buhari now the moral burden to let Nigerians know if he is truly fighting corruption.

“If the President knows he’s not shielding corrupt officials especially those who have embezzled fund meant for Rivers state.

“We as a party are asking Amaechi to resign so that he can be properly investigated. We are asking President Mohammadu Buhari to please do the needful for Nigerians,” Wanosike said.

  1. This Samuel Wanosike is a grade 1 Olodo. Is it not a shame that a publicity secretary of a party in govt. in a State, Rivers, does not know the meaning of indictment. To him, the fact that somebody accused of receiving bribe & in whose house large sums of money were discovered said that some people approached him and offered him bribe, meanwhile, he didn’t say that the people gave him money & that he collected the money and that the money found in his house was the money those people gave to him. The judges have not told us these yet, according to that fool of a secretary, Amaechi has been indicted. This same buffoon of a secretary described Amaechi as”stingingly” corrupt which by extrapolation means that Amaechi is hardly corrupt yet he wants him to resign. If this illiterate publicity secretary is not a certified Olodo, I wonder what else he is.
