Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reported to have gone ‘absolutely ballistic’ at referee Mark Clattenburg in Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Burnley.
The Red Devils boss was sent to the stands for his behaviour, and has previous for this kind of thing that could count against him as he faces a potential stadium ban.
According to the Daily Mirror, Mourinho was fuming about his side being denied what he felt was a clear penalty, and ‘completely lost it’ at the match official.
The incident happened at half time, with the Portuguese tactician alleged to have waited for Clattenburg in the tunnel before being sent to the stands for the second half of the game at Old Trafford.
The Football Association are still awaiting full details of the incident before coming to a decision on how harshly to punish Mourinho.
