Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey says he’s ready to face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday after declaring himself fit.
The Welshman returned to the Gunners’ starting line-up against Ludogorets on Tuesday and played 88 minutes during the 3-2 win.
The 25-year-old sustained a hamstring injury at the start of the season and was given a full ‘pre-season’ by Wenger to ensure a full recovery.
Arsene Wenger rested the likes of Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal for Tuesday’s win, while Santi Cazorla is expected to return for the north London derby.
‘I’m ready to face Tottenham,’ said Ramsey.
‘I wouldn’t have been out there starting last night if I wasn’t ready. It was great for me.
‘I’ve been out injured for a couple of months now and it was nice to be back starting again and getting 70-odd minutes. That will put me in good shape going into the weekend and hopefully I can stay fit.’
