Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has spoken out on his altercation with Fenerbahce’s Simon Kjaer, but hasn’t revealed much.

The 35-year-old appeared to grab the defender’s neck and shout at him during the incident, which may still be retrospectively punished.

The fracas was a particularly disappointing moment on dire night for the Red Devils as they lost to their Turkish opponents 2-1 in the Europa League.

Their mercurial forward doesn’t seem that bothered by the situation though, choosing to describe the incident and what caused it as ‘nothing special’ on his official app.

It isn’t going well for the Swede at Old Trafford after a quick start with the Premier League club.

The former PSG man has failed to find the back of the net in his last six top flight games, and for the same amount of time in all competitions.

This has coincided with a difficult period for Jose Mourinho’s team which has seen the club fail to win in their last four league games to slip to eighth in the table.
