Arsenal could be without Alexis Sanchez and Hector Bellerin for Manchester United game

Arsenal face the potential blow of taking on Manchester United next weekend without two hugely important players in Alexis Sanchez and Hector Bellerin.

Arsenal may have to take on Man Utd without vital duo

The Gunners face a tough trip to Old Trafford to take on Jose Mourinho and co., and early reports on Sanchez and Bellerin suggest they could give Arsene Wenger a major selection crisis.

Both are among Arsenal’s most crucial figures in the starting XI, but have suffered knocks on international duty.

The Chilean Football Association have reported that Sanchez is struggling with a ‘low-grade muscle injury’ and should miss his side’s next game against Colombia, though a return to play Uruguay has not been ruled out.

Arsenal fixtures
Manchester United (A) – Sat 19 Nov
Paris Saint-Germain (H) – Wed 23 Nov
Bournemouth (H) – Sun 27 Nov
Southampton (H) – Wed 30 Nov
West Ham (A) – Sat 3 Dec

Meanwhile, reports in Spain say Bellerin is not 100% fit and has not taken part in training with the Under-21s.

Arsenal fans won’t be too optimistic about the players likely to replace these two, with Olivier Giroud likely to come in up front despite a lack of playing time this season, while Carl Jenkinson is the most likely option at right-back after returning from two years on loan at West Ham this summer.
