Liverpool star Adam Lallana feels that he is a much more confident player under manager Jurgen Klopp.
The 28-year-old says that he can feel the trust of his manager and that has inspired his positive form this season.
“I feel he trusts me,” Lallana, who is in the England squad preparing for Friday’s World Cup qualifier against Scotland, said of his club manager.
“When you have that connection, he can say stuff to you that you don’t want to hear and it doesn’t feel negative or personal. So, I am definitely more positive due to my club form.
“Confidence is a thing that you can’t just switch on and off. You can’t just drink something different or do something different in training. It’s one of these things that gradually comes.
“You wish you had confidence all the time but it isn’t just built in you. So, when you have confidence, it’s important to take advantage and use it as much as you can.
“So now I want to take it on to the international stage.”
