Zlatan Ibrahimovic knows he is at a ‘massive’ club in Manchester United.
The Swedish superstar arrived at Old Trafford as a free agent in the summer after four successful seasons with French giants PSG.
The 35-year-old’s fabled career has seen him play for hometown club Malmo, Dutch giants Ajax, Italian trio Inter Milan, Juventus and AC Milan, and Spanish powerhouse Barcelona.
In an interview with Inside United, Zlatan said that United is indeed a big club just like all the others he has passed through on his journey.
“I think the club is massive,” he said.
“I have played at other massive clubs, every club is massive and if it was not massive it became massive when I come, so same thing!”
Ibrahimovic also senses that United are a club intent on continuing to become a global brand.
“You can see the purpose of the club, the intention of what they are doing, it’s not local, it’s global, it’s to reach out worldwide, and in that way, it’s huge,” he added.
And regarding the 25 major honours he has won throughout his career thus far, Zlatan says there is not one he can pinpoint as being the most special.
“Every medal has its story,” he insists.
“It’s difficult to say because I have one from every country I went to.”
