Jurgen Klopp is the best manager in the world for players who have a desire to improve, according to Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.
Klopp’s Liverpool have made a scintillating start to the Premier League season, winning eight of their 11 games and emerging as early frontrunners in the title race.
England international Henderson, 26, has hailed the impact of Klopp since the German took over in the Anfield hotseat last October.
‘We’ve got the best manager and the best staff in the world for players that want to improve and think of football in a different way, if you like,’ Henderson told Premier League Productions.
‘I definitely think since the manager has come in, everyone has bought into the way he wants to play. For all of us, that’s the best way to play football now and we all know exactly what the manager expects and wants us to do.
‘We’ve got to keep learning from that, keep improving, but there is no better teacher than him and the staff as well.’
Despite becoming a regular for club and country, Henderson insists he is still striving to improve his performances.
The Liverpool skipper added: ‘You’ve got to learn all the time, you’ve got to want to improve, and every day I come in and just try to do that.
‘I try to learn something new all the time, but it’s easy when I am playing with the players I am playing with, with the manager I have got and the staff I have got, because there are no better people to learn from.’
