Antoine Griezmann believes Jamie Vardy has been the best player in world football behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
The England international helped fire Leicester City to the biggest title upset in Premier League history with 24 goals last season.
Ronaldo is the heavy favourite to secure the Ballon d’Or trophy ahead of Messi in January after winning the Champions League with Real Madrid and Euro 2016 with Portugal.
But Griezmann’s aim is to be crowned football’s best player in the near future.
‘Cristiano Ronaldo first, as he’s won two titles, then Lionel Messi because he’s unique and after that maybe Jamie Vardy for winning the English title with Leicester,’ he told Goal.
‘Ronaldo and Messi are two monsters, two legends. In 10 years, the world will say that no-one will ever be able to equal them.
‘I’m going to try and get as close as possible and to continue to raise my level each year to become the best player possible.’
