Manchester City’s two goal hero Yaya Toure feels the title race will go down to the wire.
Liverpool’s draw away at Southampton means City are now dead level with the Merseysiders on points and goal difference – and Toure believes a repeat of the testing 2014 title race could be on the cards.
“To be honest, I just want to help the team and make the team succeed,” he said after victory at Crystal Palace. “City have been involved in the title race all year and I think we have to keep going because of the other teams around us.
“My prediction is that it will be like 2014. Fighting until the end and we have to continue to keep going.
“Some games aren’t going to be beautiful but we have to deliver because we have quality players who can score important goals in the last minute. I’m very delighted for the team and the three points were deserved.”
