Belgium’s former head coach Marc Wilmots has suggested that Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was leaking team information during Euro 2016.
Wilmots was sacked after the tournament as Belgium were dumped out at the quarter-final stage by Wales.
Courtois was critical of Wilmots’ tactics during the competition and was involved in a bust-up with the 47-year-old in the dressing room following the defeat to Chris Coleman’s side.
And when asked about rumours that Belgium’s team line-ups were being leaked by Courtois to his father, Wilmots told L’Equipe: ‘I honestly do not care anymore.
‘At one point I would have stopped to think about it, because where does it end?
‘Several moles have been mentioned. Was it Courtois through his father? Possibly, and if so I find that unfortunate.’
